We are a group of local moms and visionaries committed to connecting our community through books and stories.

The stories in books are both a window and a mirror. Early literacy development in children is not just linked to academic success, but social and emotional well being.

As a result, The Dolly Parton Imagination Library of Loudoun strives to get free books into the hands of all children from birth, which in turn gifts confidence and understanding as they walk through classroom doors at age 5.

It is our mission to inspire a life-long love of learning by fostering greater connections and compassion through reading. By establishing a library in every child’s home, together we will nurture their roots to grow wings!

Welcome to the Imagination Library!

Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library puts books into the hands and hearts of children across the world. We partner with local communities to provide a specially-selected, high-quality book each month from participating children from birth to age 5. These books are personalized with each child’s name and mailed directly to their home to create a gifting experience that makes books exciting and encourages families to spend time enjoying books together.

Best of all, the Imagination Library is available to all children at no cost to the family.
